Genelle Williams Biography
Genelle Williams is a highly accomplished actress who has demonstrated great versatility from the characters she is chosen to portray.
Genelle has gained a wealth of industry knowledge from various actors and producers she has worked with including Edward Norton, Angela Bassett, Taye Diggs, David “Sudz” Sutherland, Joel Silver, Paul Reiser, Brent Piaskowski and many more. Genelle is very proud of her role as Ashley in Saving God where she portrays Norris John’s (Dwain Murphy) girlfriend and helps guide him to see a better way of life. Genelle had previously worked with Ving Rhames in Animal 2 and was very excited about working with him in Saving God.
Genelle’s small screen credits include The Weight for TMN, The Note a Hallmark film, Doomstown a gritty CTV mini-series as well as The Latest Buss, a children’s show on the Family Network, to name just a small number. A few of Genelle’s big screen credits include The Orphan, It’s a Boy Girl Thing, and The Lazarus Child. One of Genelle’s most exciting achievements was her 2007 Gemini Award Nomination for “Best Performance is a Leading Role” as Monica in Doomstown.
Genelle resides in Toronto, Ontario and is a solidly grounded young woman who gives back to her community in many ways through her involvement with Sick Children’s Hospital Charities. |
